9pm            After the Grand Tour: the British in the Alps 1814-1850, Michael Heafford (former Lecturer in Education, University of Cambridge)

Saturday 23 March

9.15am            Peter Weiss’s Marat-SadeDr Michael Minden (Jesus College, Cambridge)

11am            A representative of the Faculty of Modern and Medieval Languages will speak, and take questions, on recent developments in the Faculty with particular reference to undergraduate admissions.

11.45am      The teaching of literature in the age of theory – a panel discussion, Dr Damian Catani (New Hall, Cambridge), Dr Sarah Cooper (Trinity Hall, Cambridge) and Dr Ian James (Downing College, Cambridge)

After her studies at undergraduate and postgraduate level, Sarah Cooper remained in Cambridge as Newton Trust Lecturer in French at Trinity Hall. She joined King’s College London in 2004, where she is Reader in Film Theory and Aesthetics.
