9pm                  Grammar and Language Teaching, Professor Martin Durrell (University of Manchester)

Martin Durrell was Professor of German at the University of Manchester when he addressed this meeting of the Oliver Prior Society. He is now Professor Emeritus at Manchester. 

Saturday 22 March

9.30am            Language Contact and Historical Linguistics, Kimberley Farrar (Newnham College, Cambridge)

11.30am          What’s Happening to the Tripos?: the Origins, Nature, and Progress of ReformsDr Philip Ford (Clare College, Cambridge)
